Every year Moon Run Ranch has a good
selection of quarter horses for sale in Colorado. We specialize in
mountain trail horses, and we usually have a few dressage &
jumping horses for sale also. Holly McLain is an expert in her ability
to find the perfect match for any rider. If the ranch horses do not
suit you expectations, simply put in your request for your perfect
horse, and Holly will find your dream horse. All horses are guaranteed
sound with negative coggins test.
All horses are current with their
vaccinations & worming, annually have had their teeth floated,
and have had consistent hoof care by either Mark Lucas or Tim Tordoff.

Cash is a 13 yr old, liver
chestnut,15.3 h,
QH-TB cross gelding. He was on the track in his youth, but for the last
four years he has been worked quietly in the ring with basic dressage
and ridden every day on the trails. He is quiet, but needs a soft
competent rider, as he is sensitive. At the wishes of his
owner,
a good home is most important.

Lilly is a very experienced
Trail Horse. She goes well in a group
or alone, will go in the lead, middle or back of a group. She
crosses all trail obstacles, creeks, bridges, mud, logs, etc.
You
can open and close gates from her back. You can pony horses
off
her and she ponies behind very well. She has been ridden
extensively on Colorado rocky trails as well as trips to Utah and
Wyoming.
Lilly has also been ridden in parades, used
as a pack
horse, has started driving, and has been ridden on fox-hunts.
She
has been on many camping trips and high-lines well. She
stands
quietly for the vet and farrier and trailer loads easily.
With everything going on right now, it's probably best to get her to a
situation where she can do more, work and have more fun.
