We have priced our tooling patterns according
to style and amount of tooling you desire on the
saddle. The following is the criteria and description
for the corner or (part) tooled, the half breed
style, the 3/4 tooled, and the full tooled.
The corner tooled saddle
has a portion of the tooling pattern on the swell
cover, the front and rear jockeys, the seat jockey
and the fender. On the Wades and the Guthrie,
it is also on on the rear skirt.
The Half breed style has
a full tooled skirt, rear jockey and swell cover.
The 3/4 tooled saddle
is the same as the half breed style but also includes
a part tooling pattern on the fender and the front
and rear jockey.
The full tooled saddle
is of course full tooled with the exception of
the sear area. There are also variations or combinations
of patterns that look good. These are your choice
and priced accordingly. This is what makes the
McCall custom-production saddle so unique.
