JESSE - 5 yr old, 15.3h., black quarter horse gelding. He is a very good trail horse and has been started on cattle. He shows a lot of natural cow working interest, which is probably due to his double bred Hancock breeding. He is not registered because the old gentleman who owned his mother had lost her papers and was so old he could not remember her name but he did know that she was registered and by a Colorado Hancock stallion named Roan Light. Jesse's sire is a Wyoming bred Hancock horse named Hancock's Lucky Sage #3401185. Jesse has been ridden in the rocky Mtn. High country, he has moved cattle and done sorting and has participated in the Peter Campbell cow working clinic at Moon Run Ranch. He trailers well, is easy to shoe and has a personable, sweet disposition. Jesse is one of the most optimistic horses I have ever been around. Reason for selling - I have too many horses and he is ready to go for anyone who can ride a little.
