| There is ample parking,
with a short path from the lot, through the woods & gardens,
under the antler arch to the front of the big barn. There is a
convertible kitchen area in one of the over sized stalls in the back of
the barn. Hot and cold running water is available next to the kitchen
for easy cleanup, and catering companies can drive to the back of the
stall with an outside entrance. Special event companies such as Rocky
Mountain Connection, Cross Media, and Operation Altitude have
contracted private and corporate parties at Moon Run Ranch. Alpine
Party Rentals has supplied everything needed such as deluxe bathrooms,
tents, tables, and complete table settings. A complete list of caterers
who have worked special events at Moon Run Ranch can be provided upon
request.

ASPEN FLYFISHING GUIDES
All family members will enjoy fishing
for eager, 12-20 inch rainbow trout in a safe, shallow farm pond. A
picnic blanket in a shady Cottonwood grove, or a short nature walk will
provide peaceful entertainment for any non-fishing guests. www.aspenflyfishing.com
SPORTING DAYS AT THE
RANCH
These are private organized activities
of fly fishing, archery, hiking, and campfire lunch.
Western roping demonstration &
instruction for clients:clients throw ropes at cow heads positioned on
straw bales on the ground, with instruction from cowboy ropers.
Mini Rodeo demonstration: includes
barrel racing, pole bending, trick roping, trick riding, and
calf catch for clients, potato sack race for clients, goat milking
contest
for clients, gentle horse for photo oportunities.
Dressage exhibition: horse &
rider perform dance movements to music
Hay Wagon: clients ride around the
ranch on a wagon pulled by two draft horses
(2 hrs.)
Camp Fire: stone circle in front of
barn surrounded by straw bales and tended by a
staff member to burn through out the event evening.
Pony cart rides for children
Horse led rides for clients
