Dan Moyer has spent a lifetime as a working cowboy for ranches in Colorado, Utah, Texas, Nevada, Idaho & Oregon. His grandfather homesteaded a ranch in Meeker, Colorado and he can never remember not being around cattle and horses. Dan has cow-bossed on many large outfits that have exceeded over 1 million acres. He has started colts since he was a boy and is known for always riding well bred horses. Dan has caught wild cattle for ranchers and the BLM in Utah and Colorado. He is also a winner of the Descanso California Vaquero Days Ranch Roping Competition as well as being one of the competition judges for the past two years. He now lives in Nucla, Colorado where he rides for neighboring ranches, trains horses, and does horsemanship and ranch roping clinics.
